Due to popularity, we have decided to open a second time slot for a tour. If you are registered for the 3-5pm time slot please do not register for this event. Join the NAWIC Pittsburgh Chapter as we tour the active PIT International Airport Terminal Modernization Program construction site.

About the event
Structure:
- Attendees will park as they normally would when coming to the Airport. Attendees are responsible for parking fees.
- We will meet on the ticketing level of the landside terminal
- A bus will take the attendees to a job trailer for safety orientation and signing of waivers
- The tour takes 90 minutes
- Bus back to landside terminal
ACAA provides the required PPE with the exception of the boots.
Some Notes about the Tour:
This will be a 60-90 min walking tour.
Proper personal protective equipment (PPE) is required to be on site.
a. Hard hats, safety glasses, gloves, and high-vis vests will be made available to you once you arrive on site.
b. You are responsible for wearing appropriate attire in order to be permitted on site. This includes a sleeved shirt (no tank tops), long pants (no shorts or skirts), and proper footwear – 6” leather work boots.
Individuals must wear the proper PPE throughout their entire visit. Please consider leaving jewelry at home or in your vehicle. Any member of the tour group unable to ACAA’s PPE policy will not be allowed out on the site.
Individuals should be aware that the 60–90-minute tour is almost entirely walking. The terrain will be uneven, unpaved, and has the potential to be wet or muddy. ACAA recommends anyone unable to walk long distances safely to kindly refrain from joining the tour, as accommodations cannot be made on the construction site. For everyone’s safety, service animals will not be permitted on site.
Personal items: Cell phones are allowed on site, but photography/videography is prohibited without permission of the ACAA. Cell phones are not to be used while walking on-site due to safety hazards such as but not limited to falling as well as dropping the phone, creating a projectile hazard. Wallets, keys, bags, food and beverage items, and other personal belongings should remain at home or secured in your vehicle. No bags, backpacks, purses etc. will be allowed onsite during the tour.
